Kids Sing Out! with Dana LaCroix
Kids Sing Out! is a recreational choir for kids who love to sing, based in Binghamton, NY. There are no auditions and ability to read music is not required. Using a fun repertoire of kids’ songs, rock & roll, folk and pop songs, kids will have the chance to sing in harmony, dance, and play simple percussion instruments. Solos are encouraged. Program ends with a public performance for family, friends and neighbors.

About the teacher:
Dana LaCroix is a music educator, workshop leader, choir director and professional touring musician with 25 years experience. A critically-acclaimed singer/songwriter, she has released 6 cds and continues to tour in Canada, the US and Europe with her band of top New York City musicians. She has taught singing and performance at the Royal Danish Musical Theater Academy, The Danish National Academy of Music and presented guest clinics and workshops at colleges and professional seminars in Canada and the US, including the Psychotherapy Networker Symposium in Washington, DC. Dana LaCroix has been head of the music program at The Brookwood School, a Montessori-based institute in Cooperstown, NY, since 2004. Dana is a graduate of the Humber College Jazz Studies program in Toronto, Canada.
